Towards 2030: China's Educational Poverty Alleviation Practice

摘要:The achievements in poverty alleviation through education cannot be reached without strong political commitment,sufficient resource inputs,active participation and genuine dialogue among all stakeholders,and documentation of progress and challenges. Meanwhile,it is worth noting that there is no one-size-fits-all approach,as each practice needs to be responsive to the unique local contexts and needs,including socio-economical,cultural and geographical factors. In this regard,we hope the selected cases and lessons drawn from them can be a reference for future practice in China. These experiences can be insightful for advancing the cause of poverty reduction through education in other countries around the world on the way towards 2030.
